Medical Immunology is an independent foundational medical course, designed specifically for undergraduate students in bioscience-related health professions. It is particularly tailored for majors including Clinical Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing. The course systematically covers the core principles of the immune system, immune responses, and clinical immunopathology, laying a solid theoretical groundwork for understanding disease mechanisms. It also emphasizes the practical applications of immunological laboratory techniques in clinical diagnosis, the principles and current strategies of immunotherapy, and the fundamental concepts underlying vaccine development and deployment.
