课程概述

本期《大学英文写作》课程是大一《大学英语读写课》的辅助学习园地和同伴互助平台，目的是帮助钱学森创新拓展班学员课外自主学习，系统掌握大学英文基本的写作方法和技巧，夯实写作基本功，为论文写作、出国留学和将来对外交流做好充分准备。

英文写作说到底是一门实践课。因此，本课程强调实践，讲授按照过程写作法组织知识点，例子剖析贯穿始终，为学生提供边学边练的机会。本课程共30单元，第1单元为课程概况，第2-9单元为英文写作的基本知识（Writing Basics); 第10-21单元为写作策略或模式（Writing Strategies or Patterns)。这两部分都属于《大学英文写作》课程的基础部分，系统梳理英文学术写作所需的知识、技巧、策略和规范。第22-30单元着手于具体的写作任务（Writing Tasks), 该部分涵盖总结、评述、较长论文、实验报告、电子书信、备忘录、留学书文等，力求兼顾同学们英文写作的特殊需求。

课程按MOOC形式要求，每单元包含若干微视频、课堂讨论平台及配套练习，方便学生复习和预习课程内容。另外，设有两次写作考核，期中考试作文一篇，750～1200词，由学生自选题目，记叙文或者说明文不限，期末统一命题、限时作文，600～800词论说文一篇。课程结束时，学员能够基本掌握大学英文写作：了解写作过程和学习规律，能够完成西方高校英文写作课程、人文社科课程和专业课程一般性的写作任务、写作规范和写作方法，作文基本做到条理清晰，连接自然，论据充分，具有说服力。

成绩要求

完成课程90%部分的学习，平时成绩占60%，互评作文成绩40%，合格分数为60分，优秀分数为90。
