This course is intended for students who have acquired the basic competency in English communication and who are in the process of learning to apply what they have learned in the general English courses to their academic studies and research in the university. The course focuses on the training of students' academic listening,speaking,reading and writing skills that are often used in college students' subject studies or research.
The course consists of a series of lessons that introduce various academic listening,speaking,reading and writing strategies, plus exercises that provide an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned into practice.
