课程概述
“医药英语”是高职高专院校药学类(药学、中药学)、药品制造类(药物制剂、化学药生产技术、生物药生产技术、中药生产技术)、药品管理类(药品质量检测、药品监督管理、药品经营与管理、药品服务与管理)等专业重要的公共基础课程。
本课程从专业主要岗位(群)需求出发,设计了包含医药历史、学科、职业和管理四个内容模块、共十个单元,涵盖中西医药历史简介,典型中药、化学药、生物药介绍,药店/药房、医院、制药企业等职场环境英语应用,以及药品生产质量管理规范、药品经营质量管理规范、药品标准范例介绍等核心内容,同时穿插全国医学英语水平考试专项训练(Medical English Test System,简称METS,医药卫生类各专业英语水平测试),满足医药英语课程教学大纲的基本要求。
本课程的目标是帮助学习者在公共英语学习的基础上,掌握必备的医药英语知识和技能,具有医药职场环境下听、说、读、看、写、译的综合运用能力,培养职业道德和创新精神,为学习专业课程和进一步提高医药英语的应用能力奠定良好的基础。本课程具有学做一体、注重职业技能培养,体现职业性、实用性、典型性等特点。
