课程概述

社会行政是社会服务系统的重要组成部分,它对社会政策的实施,社会福利制度的运行和社会服务的有效提供都发挥着重要作用。本课程是社会工作专业的一门专业核心课,是从事社会工作与管理的专业人才必须具备的专业基础,在社会工作知识体系中占有重要地位。本课程主要内容包括社会工作行政的基本概念、基本理论与管理技术,中国社会工作行政管理工作的具体问题。

Social Administration is one of the most important parts of social service system. It plays a vital role in social welfare institution and social service delivery. This course is a core course to social work major students. It covers the basic knowledge to the social work profession and social administrators. The content includes the core concepts and main theories of social work administration, basic administrative skills, and issues of social work administration in contemporary China.


教学目标

通过本课程的学习,帮助学生学习社会工作行政的基本概念、基本理论与管理技术,提高社会工作行政从业人员的行政管理能力与行政效率。

学习社会工作行政课程必须认真了解社会工作行政的基本概念、管理理论与管理技术,学会抓住重点、难点并加深领会。同时学习社会工作行政课程必须紧密联系我国社会福利行政管理的实际情况,努力应用这门课程中的有关知识,分析我国社会工作行政管理工作中的具体案例,把握问题的实质,解决实际问题。

Teaching Objectives

Helping students to grasp the basic concepts of social administration, basic theories and management skill, to promote their administration capacity and efficiency.

The instructor should help the students to use these skills and theories in the context of the social work and social welfare practice fields in China, to analysis and resolve the specific and practice problems.

本课程考核方式包括四个组成部分:期末考试周闭卷考试,单元测验,单元作业,课堂讨论。具体分数设定如下:

具体要求如下:

(1)期末考试周闭卷考试
     在学校统一规定的期末考试周参加闭卷考试。闭卷考试的内容涵盖教师面授课程和在线课程的所有内容。

(2)单元测验

     每单元都设有一个在线单元测验,学生需要在规定的时间内参加在线单元测验。单元测验的题型为单选题,多选题,填空题,判断题。测验成绩在线计算并显示。

(3)单元作业

     每单元都设有一个在线单元作业,学生需要在规定的时间内完成在线单元作业,并在线提交。作业有教师批改和学生互评两种批改方式。学生互评的作业,要求至少有5名学生批改,作业成绩按照平均分计算。作业成绩将在规定的时间发布。

(4)课堂讨论

    每一章都设有至少一个课堂讨论,学生需要积极参与线上和线下讨论。线上讨论将由网络后台几分,学生至少参加10次课堂在线讨论才可以获得课堂讨论部分的满分5分。

E. Requirements and teaching model

1. Requirements Introduction to social work, social case work, social group work, community work

2. Teaching ModelThe instructor will provide blended teaching, including lectures, class discussions, online courses, study groups, and online tutorials.

2.1 Lectures

The instructor will provide several lectures according to the syllabus. During the lectures, the instructor will help the students to grasp the basic concepts and theories of social work.

2.2 Class discussion

Instructor will organize several class discussion to help the student to participate into the class. The student will communicate with the instructor and with each other during the discussion to understand the concepts and theories of social work.

2.3 Online course

The students should take part into the online course of Introduction to social work, which on the MOOCSwww.icourse163.org. The students should complete their assignments and tests online.

2.4 Study groups

The instructor will help the students to organize study groups online and offline. The students will conduct group research, presentations, and discussions online and offline with the helping of the instructor.

2.5 Online tutorials

The Instructor will provide tutorials to help the students to grasp the course content on the MOOCSwww.icourse163.org.

 

F. Grading

1. TestTaking final examination during the examination week

2. Grading

Final Score= 50% of the final examination score + 25% of the midterm examination score + 20% of the assignment score+5% of discussion performance.

2.1 Final examination (50%)

The students should take the final examination during CNU examination week. The examination will covered all the knowledge of this course. The questions include short answer questions, case analysis, and essay questions. The duration of the final examination is 120 minutes.

2.2 Midterm examination (25%)

The students should take the midterm examination in Week 12. The examination will covered the knowledge of Week 1 to Week 11. The questions include Glossary and terminology, and short answer questions. The duration of the midterm examination is 40 minutes.

2.3 Assignment (20%)

Essay on what is the requirements for a social administrator, submit in Week 10 via MOOCs. The writing style refers to journal of sociology study.

 

2.4 Discussion (5%)

Students are encouraged to participate into the discussions in the class and online. If the students attend 10 discussions online, they can get full score in this part.

    混合式教学模式:课堂讲授为主,与课堂讨论相结合,辅之以中国大学MOOCS网SPOC课程在线学习,网络小组学习和讨论,以及教师与学生的网络互动辅导。

1)课堂讲授,教师在教学大纲的基础上,以基本参考书目和附加参考书目为主要的参考资料,配合课程的教学简报PPT和教师的课程讲稿,通过教师的课堂讲授,帮助学生在教学互动的过程中,掌握课程的基本概念和理论知识。

2)课堂讨论,在课堂讲授的基础上,通过教师积极主动的控制和调动,在教师控制的节奏下,有目的、有计划、有主题、有内容地鼓励学生参与课堂的讨论,促进学生学习的主动性和积极性。

3SPOC课程在线学习,在课堂讲授的基础上,学生可以登录中国大学MOOCs网进行SPOC在线学习,利用网络课堂上丰富的教学资源,自发自主学习。

4)网络小组学习和讨论,学生利用网络建立学习小组,开展小组学习和讨论,通过对特定主题、具体案例和实际问题的加深学习,加深对课堂内讲授的基本概念和理论知识的理解与认识。通过网络小组学习和讨论,帮助学生形成自发学习的兴趣和动力。

5)网络互动辅导,教师利用中国大学MOOCs网SPOC在线课程,定期与学生通过网络互动,通过教师的网络互动辅导,帮助学生进一步掌握本课程的教学重点和教学难点。
