Course Description
This course is designed to help medical students gain the fundamental knowledge of the English language, essential for success in the medical profession. The course focuses on the basic skills of reading, writing and speaking English at a medical level. Topics covered include: vocabulary building, grammar, pronunciation, listening and speaking, and written communication.
Course Objectives
The primary objective of this course is to provide a basic understanding of the English language, which is essential to the study of medicine. It will also emphasize important moral principles in the medical profession and help students develop their critical thinking skills. Students will learn to improve their reading, writing and speaking English, as well as develop a confidence in their English proficiency.

Grading

2、成绩评定:期末总评成绩根据期末和平时成绩综合评定。平时成绩包括出勤、作业、课堂互动、课堂活动等进行形成性评估。各教学环节占总分的比例:课堂教学评价30%; 期末考试70%。
