课程目标如下：

知识获得：通晓二战结束以来的世界经济和政治发展的脉络，了解基本的国际动态，熟悉最近的国际热点，为未来的人才储备以及硕博研读、学术深造以及留学规划奠定基础。适应通晓世界经济与政治的英语语境。构筑基本的世界经济与政治的课程体系，全面塑造国际性人才。

能力建设：敏锐的国际问题观察能力、分析能力、辨识能力、阅读与表达的语言能力的强化。

价值塑造：确保学生坚定的马克思主义立场，坚定的爱国立场，可靠的政治素养，对国际问题明辨是非的辨识能力，提升科学思维与理论素养、自主学习与发展能力、解决问题能力、合作创新能力、熟练驾驭两种语言深入思考国际问题的综合能力，培养国际人道情怀，树立中国文化自信，具备对话世界学术体系并表达中国声音的能力。

I. Nature, Purpose and Requirements of the course

Contemporary World Economics and Politics (bilingual) at Shandong University is an ideological, social and political theory course which aims to teach the basic theory of Marxism reflecting the essential features of socialist higher education. It is one of the first bilingual courses at Shandong University. The course aims to help students establish good values, a correct world view. 

The main content involves world history and the new world order since the end of the Second World War. The course encompasses  politics, economics, international relations and development  and also looks at changes in world economic globalization, political multi-polarization, and developmental trends in the world since the 1990s. In particular, the course will consider the influence of countries such as the United States, the European Union, Russia, China etc. and their position and role in the international arena.

2. Learning Outcomes:

Students will:

 Grasp the characteristics of the New World Order and the overall international situation.

Understand how the world has evolved economically, politically, and internationally.

To learn about international development issues, trends, and forces affecting the world economy and political situation; foreign strategies and diplomacy; and learn how to distinguish fact from error by means of critical thinking.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of China's diplomatic strategies, principles and policies, as well as its international status and role in striving for national prosperity. rejuvenation. and the common prosperity and progress of mankind.

Combine theory with practice, analyze and observe today's world from a Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method, so as to make specific analyses of specific problems and solve them thus enhancing their ability to distinguish between right and wrong, and make scientific predictions to reveal the laws of development

Enhance their reading, comprehension, and communication skills using original English language texts and engage in academic research, analysis, while at the same time, expanding their international vision and improving their academic ability.

本门课程的教学提供了双语语境，介绍马克思主义有关当代世界经济与政治的基本观点、邓小平的国际战略思想、习近平外交思想关于当今国际问题的重要论述和我国外交政策的知识，使学生能够充分运用马克思主义的宽广眼界观察和认识世界，掌握当今时代特征和总体国际形势；了解把握当代世界经济、政治和国际关系演变及其发展趋势、特点和面临的主要问题；了解和认识主要国际力量在世界经济、政治中的地位和作用以及它们的对外战略，实事求是地分析和判断发达国家发展的基本态势和矛盾；全面认识中国的外交战略、方针、政策与国际地位和作用，树立为国家富强和民族复兴、为人类的共同繁荣与进步而奋斗的信念。

由平时成绩30分，期末成绩（70分）考试内容中文答题和英文部分的试题各占50%.

降低知识性评价，提高能力和素质评价，注重课堂互动与参与思考式以及问题导入式教学

单元测验30%   考查知识积累

单元作业70%   共8次写作任务，学生互评与教师评价相结合；互评考察知识内化、理论应用、写作技能与素质提升；教师评价学生的互评过程，监督并指导学生客观评价，培养国际型人才，加强具有国际问题辨识度的能力训练。

2）线下

注重课堂的专题式教学、课堂的教学评定与问题探讨式教学

形成性评价20% 

考察学生在课堂上的知识接受程度的反馈，即使评定，在双语环境中，熟悉世界二战以来的经济与政治发展的历史和新动态。

表现性评价30%

作业设计10%+出勤10%+学期论文10%。

结果性评价70%  

中文部分：材料分析题、论述题

英文部分：名词解释、国际问题内容的汉译英、国际热点的英译汉

学习者应理论联系实际，运用马克思主义的立场、观点和方法分析和观察当今世界，做到具体问题具体分析，有针对性地解决，增强能力，提高是非的辨别力，并能够作出科学的预测，揭示出发展的规律。
