Biochemistry is the science concerned with various molecules and their chemical reactions that occur in living cells and organisms. Anything rather than an extremely superficial comprehension of life demands the knowledge of biochemistry. Through the study of this course, the students should master the basic knowledge and skills of Biochemistry, understand the nature and molecular mechanism of life phenomena, and lay a foundation for the subsequent study of other medical courses, clinical courses as well as future clinical practice and community practice. The students should also have the ability to use modern information technology to obtain professional information and frontier progress. Furthermore, they could have good communication skills, team spirit, social responsibility and professional mission.
