This course is the basic course of fashion design program, and the target learners are the students of the fashion design students who have a certain English foundation. At the same time, it is also suitable for international students to choose to study in China. This course is developed for the whole society. Designers who are interested in fashion English and those who are engaged in related work with fashion can participate in the course. Also, we pay attention to training students' knowledge transfer ability in teaching.

This course introduces the key English vocabulary and skills for fashion design and the fashion industry, including clothes vocabulary, vocabulary for describing fashion studios, and vocabulary for descriptions for fashion jobs. Students can learn the necessary English vocabulary and skills for speech and presentation; know international fashion events calendar, including the five major fashion capitals and fashion events which happen each season in the fashion capitals, and also learn the vocabulary and terminology about fashion trends. 

    本课程介绍适用于时装设计和时尚产业的关键英语词汇与技能,包括服装专业词汇、描述时装工作室的专业词汇以及相关时尚专业的岗位描述的专业词汇；学习必须的演讲和展示能力的英语词汇与技能；介绍国际时装大事历,包括五大时尚之都的介绍和每个季节在时尚之都发生的时装秀活动和发布的流行趋势等方面的专业词汇和术语。
