This course will explore the foundations of Chinese civilization and the essence of Chinese history and culture. It will arm international students with various perspectives on Chinese culture. The content of the course is abundant, including history, geography, politics, economy, art, philosophy, religion, languages, literature, education and etc.

The aims of the course is to help international students to understand the lifestyle and value of Chinese people. And to cultivate favorable feeling towards China in order that they can study, live in China and cooperate with Chinese people.

Students should all watch the video and finish the quiz before class every week. The grades of the quiz will be part of your performance.
