局部解剖学是连接基础医学和临床医学的医学专业基础课程，在系统解剖学知识的基础上，通过对本课程的学习，让医学生特别是临床医学及其相关学科的学生掌握人体各个局部区域内器官和结构的层次、位置、毗邻关系、体表标志等知识。学完这门课程让学生掌握相关的基础理论，加深巩固基本知识，最为重要的是掌握解剖操作的基本技能。这位今后学习相关课程以及临床重要课程——内、外、妇、儿等科，打下坚实的基础。这门课程以实验操作为主，培养学生的动手能力，特别是适用于将来励志从事手术科室的医学生学习。该课程主要适用于临床医学（MBBS）和口腔医学（BDS）专业的留学生，也适用于英语基础较好的具有相关专业背景的中国学生。

Regional anatomy is a new professional basic course for medicine by connecting basic medicine and clinical medicine. On the basis of systematic anatomy, by studying this course, medical students especially clinical medical students grasp the  layers, location, relationship, body surface markers and clinical application of organs and structures in a particular region of body. Having studied this course, the students  can understand the basic theory, deepen the basic knowledge, and more important, master the basic skills. It will lay a certain degree of basis for regional anatomy in studying the relevant courses and clinical important courses such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics. This course mainly focus on the experimental instruction, and cultivate students' practial ability, in partical, is suitable to the students who will engage in the surgery department to study. The course mainly faces the foreign students whose major are Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), and some well-grasped English language of Chinese students with related majors.

Studnets will grasp the layers, location, relationship, body surface markers and clinical application of organs and structures in a particular region of body and highlight “three basics", that is, understand the basic theory, deepen the basic knowledge and master the basic skills.
