Acupuncture has a long history and plays an important role in human’s healthcare. It has been recognized as the intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. With the rising interest of acupuncture in the world, more and more foreign students come to China to study acupuncture. 

Acupuncture therapeutics is the main course in the learning system. It somehow likes the bridge, connecting the basic Chinese medicine theroy with clinical practice.  

By the end of this course, students will: 

Describe the diseases spectrum which acupuncture usually effectively treats

Understand major pattern differentiations of common disorders in acupuncture practice

Develop a comprehensive treatment plans including proper treatment methods and acupoints selection

Understand basic biomedical knowledge about common diseases and the way of acupuncture intervention 

A serial of videos and tests will be avaliable. In the videos, each certain disease or symptom will be introduced  into two sections, one for understanding it, the other for its acupuncture treatment.   Tests are  followed for self -exam purpose.
