课程概述

The Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases course introduces the epidemiological features, clinical characteristics, preventive measures, treatment principles and other relevant knowledge of various infectious diseases including viral hepatitis, AIDS, tuberculosis, influenza, Helicobacter pylori infection, and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). It will also promote the promulgation and significance of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Law, the epidemic reporting system of infectious diseases and the importance of comprehensive prevention and control measures.


The teaching team of this course is composed of clinicians with long-term clinical experience and rich teaching experience in the Center of Infectious Diseases, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. The teaching content is illustrated by pictures, interspersed videos, clinical case sharing and other teaching methods. This course is a popular scientific explanation, not only for medical students, but also for non-medical students.

 

授课目标


Through the study of this course, it can help students understand the "previous and present life" of infectious diseases, learn the prevention and control knowledge of infectious diseases and get rid of incorrect misunderstandings. It also allows more people to understand the importance of prevention and control of infectious disease and enjoy a healthy and wonderful life.
