The course is intended for the undergraduate level, which is designed to fulfill the following tasks: to explain how and why the world’s countries differ; to present a thorough review of the economics and politics of international trade and investment; to explain the functions and form of the global monetary systems; to examine the strategies and structures of international business; to assess the special roles of an international business’s various functions; to outline the general development of Foreign Direct Investment by Multinational Enterprises in the mainland of China market in the past three decades; and to introduce how to do business in the mainland of China market for global investors. The course is taught by flipping the classroom in order to stimulate and facilitate more participation of both lecturer and students.
