This course is an advanced undergraduate course in corporate finance. The course will cover corporate finance topics at a deeper level, notably by using basic game theory and basic contract theory. It will also introduce new topics such as real options, financial constraints, and corporate governance. It is also recommended that students have the capacity for mathematical reasoning and a basic knowledge of regression analysis. Students will be expected to master the tools needed by practitioners in corporate finance; to understand simple mathematical models underlying corporate finance theories; and to have learned lessons from case studies and empirical studies.

1. Final exam (final exam score accounts for 70% of the total score)
· Objective test questions: assess the understanding and mastery of basic knowledge and basic theories
· Subjective test questions: assess the application of basic knowledge and basic theories.
· Assessment indicators and specific scoring standards: see the final exam papers for details.
2. Unit test assessment (unit tests of all modules together account for 20% of the total grade)
· Obtained by averaging the unit test scores for each module.
· For specific grading criteria, please refer to the after-school quiz of each module.
3. Class discussion area discussion (10% of the total grade)
· Students are graded on how effectively and actively they are discussing course-related knowledge, asking and answering questions in class discussion areas. The highest is 10 points, the lowest is 0 points. Students need to have at least 3 effective discussions in the "Classroom Discussion Area" to get full marks in this section. The "course discussion" indicator score without effective discussion is 0, 3 points for 1 effective discussion, 6 points for 2 effective discussions, and 10 points for 3 or more effective discussions.
