spContent=Engineering mechanics is divided into two areas: statics and dynamics. Statics deals with the equilibrium of bodies, that is, those that are either at rest or move with a constant velocity; whereas dynamics is concerned with the accelerated motion of bodies. Engineering mechanics is essential for the design and analysis of many types of structural members, mechanical components, or electrical devices encountered in engineering.

课程概述

This course is to provide a clear and thorough presentation of the theory and application of engineering mechanics. The body of knowledge is organized and conveyed in an appropriate manner for effective and efficient instruction. It is hoped that the course can help build students’ strong conceptual understanding of the basic principles and develop the ability to apply these principles for successfully solving mechanics problems.
