课程概述

本课程是为化学、化工及相关专业的学生开设的一门专业选修课程。通过该课程的学习，学生可以很容易的将所学的专业知识与英语有机结合并向纵、横向深度拓展。课程内容涉及无机化学和有机化学这两大主题。本课程教学，不仅可以使学生熟悉和掌握本专业常用的专业词汇、词组及其用法，还能进一步巩固专业知识，同时培养学生科技英语的阅读和翻译能力。本课程的学习将为学生学习新的科学知识与技术、查阅本专业英文文献、掌握国际上本专业发展动态打好语言基础。

授课目标

目标1. 掌握大量专业英语词汇、英语常用词头和词尾、化学化工常用英文缩写与符号。

目标2. 较熟练地阅读各类化学化工英语期刊图书和其他文献，并具备撰写英语论文的能力。

成绩要求

总成绩包括章节测试成绩、课堂测验成绩、作业成绩和期末成绩等部分构成。
