课程概述
Pharmaceutics is interdisciplinary integrating knowledge and methods from medicine and pharmacy. It is a comprehensive discipline, covering the basic theory, formulation design, preparation process, quality control and clinical rational application of pharmaceutical preparations. The pharmaceutics course is indispensable for the education of all pharmacy students, and plays an utmostly important role in the cultivation of medical students. The fundamental aim of pharmaceutics is to enable effective drugs delivery to their target sites by means of various dosage forms, drug delivery systems, and drug delivery device. A better understanding of pharmaceutics would be greatly beneficial for the optimization of the dosage form design of drugs, improvement of the production technology, development of novel drug delivery system, and enhancement of the product quality. Pharmaceutics is also able to provide scientific foundation for the safe, rational, and effective application of drug products in clinics. At present, innovative researches on technologies, dosage forms, excipients, and equipment of pharmaceutics have been stepping forward to a new era of rapid development, aiming to serve for the needs of precise medicine. We believe that with the continuous development of pharmaceutics and its expanding associated science and technologies , more and more novel drug delivery methods will be established, which may result in more precise, intelligent, and efficient ways to facilitate human health in the future. Meanwhile, the healthy and vigorous development of pharmaceutics will further offer tremendous assistance for boosting the pharmacy research in China to a more advanced and leading position internationally.
