本课程以主题内容为依托，采用线上系统讲解与线下项目操练相结合，训练学习者英文演讲与辩论“实战”能力。

    共设8个单元，涉及教育交流、人工智能、休闲与娱乐、民族文化身份认同、性别平等、年轻人创业、人与自然、全球化等主题。每个单元设4个小节：第1节为信息性演讲，主要训练学习者搜集、整理、展示和陈述信息的能力；第2节为说服性演讲，着重训练学习者提炼、组织、表达观点与建议的能力；第3节为辩论部分，着力培养学习者的批判性思维能力、逻辑思辨能力、观点表达能力以及团队协作精神；第4节为拓展性学习资源，如语音小课堂、名人名言、名人演讲与辩论视频等，用于语音矫正和主题内容拓展。

    本课程围绕前沿主题开展英文演讲与辩论训练，有助于学习者掌握国际交流的基本礼仪与规范，提高英语语言有效表达及跨文化交流的能力。

设置“合格”（达到60%成绩）、“优秀”（达到85%成绩）两档课程标准

测试与作业占50%

参与讨论占20%

期末考试占30%

（注意：参与讨论以学生在“课堂交流区” 就每个单元话题有效回复老师发起的讨论贴数量进行考核。）

    对英语口语、演讲及辩论感兴趣，学习过高中、大学英语基础课程，并具有一定听、说、读、写、译能力
