(1)为什么要使用英文原版教材?
答:2011年课程团队曾对历届国家级双语示范课程(2007-2010)进行了分析,结果发现:与《国际贸易学》密切相关的9门课程中,除1门课程使用自编教材外,其他8门课程均选择了英文原版教材,其中,“Dominick Salvatore(多米尼克·萨尔瓦多)”、“Paul R. Krugman(保罗·克鲁格曼)”、“Thomas A. Pugel(托马斯·普格尔)”主编的教材各2门次;“Dennis R. Appleyard(丹尼斯·阿普尔亚德)”、“Robert J. Carbaugh(罗伯特·凯伯)”主编的教材各1门次。2013年项目组对辽宁、山东、上海、重庆、云南、河南等地历年省级双语示范课程进行了统计,结果也发现:各高校无论申报的是《国际经济学》,还是《国际贸易学》,无一例外地均使用了英文原版教材。可见,将英文原版教材作为《国际贸易学》双语教学教材,在国内基本达成共识。学界普遍认为,“原汁原味”的英语表达方式和学科知识,有助于教师和学生实现双语教学的“三合一”目标(即学科目标、语言目标、思维目标)。
(2)除了教学视频,有没有其他教辅资料?
答:Paul R.Krugman是2008年诺贝尔经济学奖得主, 其主编的《International Economics》理论性强,难点较多。为此,课程团队在开展双语教学实践的同时,积极开展教学研究:2012年该课程获得学校教改一般项目(学校首批网络课程)立项资助,并在次年的验收中,被教务处评为“优秀”;2016年团队申报的“《国际贸易学》英文原版教材的比较研究” 获得学校教改重点项目立项资助;2017年该课程被列入学校第二批在线开放课程建设立项名单。
