课程采用的翻译实例全部来源于主讲教师多年来翻译的文学作品、学术著作、以及社科、法律、科技、医药、政府文件等材料，这些实例经过全面细致的分析，向学习者展现了翻译的过程和翻译技巧的综合、灵活运用。这样的翻译实战经验分享和细致入微的分析可以有效帮助学习者掌握英汉互译方法与技巧。

课程在注重语言的理解和表达的同时，强调翻译中的文化意识以及对源语文化和译入语文化的理解在翻译中的重要作用。

        课程设计的原则是：1. 基础。本科生、研究生和对翻译感兴趣的人士均可学习。2. 实用。结合第一手翻译经验，通过对各类翻译实例的讲解、练习和讨论，帮助学习者掌握翻译的思路和方法，对学习者将来从事翻译实践具有实用价值。 3. 系统。介绍翻译的过程，按照字词、句子、段落、篇章由简到繁、由易到难的顺序进行讲解和练习。

为积极响应国家低碳环保政策， 2021年秋季学期开始，中国大学MOOC平台将取消纸质版的认证证书，仅提供电子版的认证证书服务，证书申请方式和流程不变。

电子版认证证书支持查询验证，可通过扫描证书上的二维码进行有效性查询，或者访问 https://www.icourse163.org/verify，通过证书编号进行查询。学生可在“个人中心-证书-查看证书”页面自行下载、打印电子版认证证书。

完成课程教学内容学习和考核，成绩达到课程考核标准的学生（每门课程的考核标准不同，详见课程内的评分标准），具备申请认证证书资格，可在证书申请开放期间（以申请页面显示的时间为准），完成在线付费申请。

认证证书申请注意事项：

1. 根据国家相关法律法规要求，认证证书申请时要求进行实名认证，请保证所提交的实名认证信息真实完整有效。
