课程概述

我们的大学英语综合课程将以五大话题、五篇风格各异的文章为依托，全方位训练学习者的听、说、读、写、译等基本语言技能，同时深入了解不同国家的文化和不同的思维方式，在阅读和讨论中强化技能、拓展视野、体味人生。这其中既包含语言学习的认知层面，也包含其感知层面，因此我们不仅应"知道"英语作为语言的基本知识，还应感觉到其在使用中的语言特征。就本课程而言，学习者应在不断练习听、说、读、写、译的基础上，仔细体会各篇文章的感性特征和语言本身的美，进而就各个话题展开思考，例如: 自然的美与力量(UNIT 1)、全球化的历史与新趋势(UNIT 4)，在当前的自然(UNIT 1)、社会(UNIT 4)环境下，我们想从事怎样的工作(UNIT 3)，想过怎样的生活(UNIT 6)，如何共同面对自然灾害、环境保护(UNIT 1)和恐怖主义(UNIT 7)等大问题。

我们将在本学期主要处理五个单元的内容，unit 1、unit 3、 unit 4、 unit 5、 unit 6 以及 unit 7。

除Orientation单元外，每个单元分两周时间完成。在期末安排有在线考试。

本课程的课程负责人为张龙海教授，课程主讲老师有三位，分别是张龙海（负责Orientation 和 unit 7）,陈婷（负责 unit 1 和 unit 4 ）,刘岩（负责 unit 3 和 unit 6）。还有四位老师负责课件的制作以及课后练习等幕后工作，分别是黄玲毅、方芳、朱美琳、朱丽航。

证书要求

完成大学英语二级课程，达到开始修学大学英语三级的水平。

预备知识

能听懂一般性题材的音视频资料，读懂一般性题材的英语文章，能就常见话题用英语进行交流，能完成一般性写作任务。
