国防科技大学是国家“双一流”重点建设的国内一流综合性大学，享有“军中清华”的美誉，在现代教育技术和精品资源课程建设领域始终走在全国前列。
继成功推出《大学英语（口语）》和《大学英文写作》两门中国大学MOOC课程之后，国防科技大学外语团队重磅推出《大学英语综合课程》。本课程分为四个级别，分别为《大学英语综合课程（一）》、《大学英语综合课程（二）》、《大学英语综合课程（三）》和《大学英语综合课程（四）》，共40个单元120讲。每个单元均以主题为线索，在完成听、说、读、写、译等语言基本技能的综合训练过程中，注重对课文的整体理解、常用语言知识的讲解、关键词汇和句型的运用、文本特色和常用修辞的欣赏和分析；促进学习者对语言基础知识的掌握，培养学习者扎实的语言基本功，帮助学习者提高语言的综合应用能力；注重培养学习者的跨文化意识，提升和培养学习者的跨文化能力；注重锻炼学习者独立思考、提出问题与解决问题等自主学习能力和批判思维能力；注重学员的产出，特别是写作能力的培养，对每一个单元，都有针对性地对本单元所涉及的主要课文对象和写作任务进行了适度讲解，便于学习者领会写作任务，开展写作学习，完成相应的写作任务。
《大学英语综合课程（四）》的每个单元由三大讲构成。第一讲（Active Reading 1）和第二讲（Active Reading 2）包括课文分析、语言运用（涉及语言特色、修辞手法、句型讲解、词汇学习等）和文化小贴士等三个微视频，注重语言综合技能训练和文化意识提升；第三讲（Reading Across Cultures & Writing）包括课文阅读、文化拓展和写作训练三个微视频，侧重跨文化交际能力、思辨能力、以及写作技能的培养。
本课程的课程负责人为梁晓波副院长，四册授课内容分别由林骊珠、彭天笑两位主讲老师完成。《大学英语综合课程（一）》与《大学英语综合课程（二）》相对注重基础知识的学习和基础能力的培养，《大学英语综合课程（三）》与《大学英语综合课程（四）》则更加注重学习者的更高需求。课程在整体上体现了基础性、系统性、完整性、实用性，对于《大学英语》的各类学习者，都有较好的适用性。
《大学英语综合课程（四）》共10个单元，涉及就业、读书、时尚、金钱、性别差异、历史、家庭、建筑、语言、人文精神等10个主题。
为积极响应国家低碳环保政策， 2021年秋季学期开始，中国大学MOOC平台将取消纸质版的认证证书，仅提供电子版的认证证书服务，证书申请方式和流程不变。
电子版认证证书支持查询验证，可通过扫描证书上的二维码进行有效性查询，或者访问 https://www.icourse163.org/verify，通过证书编号进行查询。学生可在“个人中心-证书-查看证书”页面自行下载、打印电子版认证证书。
完成课程教学内容学习和考核，成绩达到课程考核标准的学生（每门课程的考核标准不同，详见课程内的评分标准），具备申请认证证书资格，可在证书申请开放期间（以申请页面显示的时间为准），完成在线付费申请。
认证证书申请注意事项：
1. 根据国家相关法律法规要求，认证证书申请时要求进行实名认证，请保证所提交的实名认证信息真实完整有效。
2. 完成实名认证并支付后，系统将自动生成并发送电子版认证证书。电子版认证证书生成后不支持退费。
学习起点：
能听懂一般性题材的音视频资料，读懂一般性题材的英语文章，能就常见话题用英语进行交流，能完成一般性写作任务。
