Engineering Geology is not only a branch of geology but also an integral part of the fundamental disciplines of engineering and technology sciences. As an applied science serving engineering construction, it provides essential geological support for engineering practice. The English-taught MOOC “Hydraulic Engineering Geology” focuses on engineering geological issues involved in the construction of hydraulic and hydropower projects.
