Nursing Research is an important foundation course for entering nursing research field, analyzing the nature of nursing phenomena, and innovatively exploring and enriching new theories and knowledge in nursing discipline. In this course, we aim to identifying clinical problems rationally, conducting nursing research systematically, guiding nursing practice effectively and promoting the development of nursing discipline.
Our Nursing Research course team from Wuhan University draws on the advanced experience of international nursing education, combines domestic and foreign teaching materials to build the course content, integrates the latest scientific research achievements of nursing scholars in China, and adopts the five major stages of the basic process of nursing research, namely, “Conceptualization, Design and Planning, Empirical Evidence, Analysis and Dissemination” as the teaching framework for teaching of the whole course.
We aim to training students to acquire research knowledge, developing their research thinking skills, enhancing their research ability, emphasizing the establishment of good academic ethics, developing critical thinking and innovation ability, cultivating the patriotic spirit of embracing the motherland and serving the people as well as establishing the pragmatic spirit of pursuing truth and rigorous study.
